We are pleased to announce the launch of the collective monograph “Languages and Cultures During War” (scientific editors: H. Shumytska, A. Krouglov. Uzhhorod, 2025. 289 pages) at 11:00 (Kyiv time) on 11 April 2025 at Uzhhorod National University. The event was conducted in a hybrid format.
Professor Halyna Shumytska and Professor Alex Krouglov chaired the event. Working languages: Ukrainian and English.
The monograph includes materials from papers presented at the international scientific conference “Languages and cultures in times of war: (im)possible, (re)imagined, (un)manageable,” held by the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) of University College London (UCL) in collaboration with Justus Liebig University of Giessen (Germany), Uzhhorod National University (Ukraine), and Ukrainian Catholic University (Ukraine) on 2–3 May 2024 in London.
